Control settings

These are the controller settings in Rocket League, they determine what actions you want your car to do. See below for the default settings.

Overview[edit]

Control Action
Throttle Moves your car forwards or Accelerates your car
Brake (Reverse) Moves your car backwards or Decelerates your car.
Jump Makes your car jump.
You can get extra height within 0.25 seconds of your jump if you keep holding the jump button.
provides another jump if pressed again within ≈ 1.5 seconds of the initial jump.
Boost Provides extra acceleration faster than Throttle.
Ball cam Switches the camera focus between ball, and pointing forwards relative to car position.
Air roll Tilts your car to the left or right when holding it and turning right or left.
Air roll right (not bound by default) Tilts your car to the right without having to turn right while pressing.
Air roll left (not bound by default) Tilts your car to the left without having to turn left while pressing.
