Format[edit]

  • Group Stage
    • 2 groups of 4 teams each.
    • Single Round Robin - all matches are So3.
    • Each head-to-head match between teams consists of 3 games, with each game being played in a different game mode.
    • All game modes for each set are pre-determined prior to the event.
  • Game Modes
    • Match 1:
      • Game 1: Standard
      • Game 2: Rumble
      • Game 3: Heatseeker
    • Match 2:
      • Game 1: Standard w/ non-standard Arena chosen by chat vote
        • Arena options: Arctagon, Badlands, Throwback Stadium, Tokyo Underpass
      • Game 2: Dropshot
      • Game 3: Spike Rush
    • Match 3:
      • Game 1: Standard w/ non-standard Arena chosen by chat vote
        • Arena options: Arctagon, Badlands, Throwback Stadium, Tokyo Underpass
      • Game 2: Snow Day
      • Game 3: Dropshot Rumble
  • Teams earn points in the group stage based on the results of each game
    • 3 points for a win
    • 1 point for an overtime loss
    • 0 points for a regulation loss
  • Playoffs
    • 4 playoff matches, with matchups determined based on group placement at the end of the Group Stage
      • All matches are Bo5.
    • Game modes for playoff matches will be determined by a pick/ban procedure.
    • Available Game Modes:
