L'Odyssée was a tournament held on October 15-16, 2022 in Paris, France. Fully titled L'Odyssée - Chant I (French: "The Odyssey - Song I"), it is intended to be the first tournament of the L'Odyssée circuit.
A 16-player invitational major tournament, it featured top-level talent from Europe, Japan, and the United States. Japanese player Tea took first place, becoming the first person from Asia (and third person after France's Glutonny and Mexico's MkLeo) to have won two majors in Europe.
Format[edit]
- Round Robin pools (best of 3)
- The player who finishes 1st in their group will advance to the final bracket winners side
- The players who finish 2nd and 3rd in their group will advance to the final bracket losers side
- The player who finishes 4th in their group will be eliminated
- Tiebreakers for two-way ties in group are head-to-head results. In case of three-way ties, the tiebreaker is the highest number of games won, and the second tiebreaker is the lowest number of games lost
- Final Bracket is double-elimination (best of 5)
