MLG Chicago 2006 was the fourth event hosted by Major League Gaming on their 2006 circuit.

Ken's victory over ChuDat in grand finals marked his third consecutive tournament win since finishing 2nd to PC Chris at MLG New York Opener 2006. However, the most notable part of the tournament was the return of Azen who was yet to compete on the 2006 MLG Pro Circuit. Azen and Chillindude made history by winning the doubles event over the then-unstoppable team of Ken and Isai. It was the first doubles event Ken and Isai entered together that they didn't win.
