Justin "Wizzrobe" Hallett is a Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and former Project M player from Florida. He is known for his ability to play each game at the top level. He was ranked 9th in SSBMRank 2023.

Biography[edit]

In Melee, Wizzrobe is considered the best Captain Falcon player. He has had many impressive tournament performances, finishing 4th at DreamHack Austin 2016, Full Bloom 4, WTFox 2, Smash Summit 7, and Get On My Level 2019, 3rd at Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo 2018, 2nd at Smash Rivalries and DreamHack Winter 2017, and 1st at OpTic Arena and Smash 'N' Splash 5.

In Project M, he was considered to be the best Sonic player in the world before his retirement from that game; he placed 2nd at CEO 2014 and 5th at The Big House 4.

Wizzrobe is also considered to be the best Yoshi player in Smash 64. His many impressive placements include 5th at Apex 2014, 3rd at Apex 2015, and 2nd at Super Smash Con 2016. He is also one of the few people to beat SuPeRbOoMfAn in tournament, beating him 3-0 at GENESIS 4.

Wizzrobe had a historic 1st place finish Smash 'N' Splash 5 where he beat players like Spark, n0ne, Leffen, aMSa, and Hungrybox (x2). This marked the first time since 2005, when Isai won MOAST 3, where a solo Captain Falcon main won a major. This also marked his first premier tournament win, and made him the fourth ever person to win a tournament this size in the era of the gods. He also made an incredible performance in Ultimate Singles, winning over Tweek and ScAtt to make it into Top 8, with Ally and Dabuz (winners side and losers side respectively) ending his run at 7th place.

Previously sponsored by CLASH Tournaments, he was later sponsored by COGnitive Gaming. On December 31, 2016, COGnitive Gaming disbanded, making Wizzrobe a free agent.[1]

He joined Excelerate Gaming on October 23, 2018.[2] He was released by the team on January 3, 2019.[3] Wizzrobe joined Team Envy on June 26, 2019.[4] He parted ways with Team Envy on June 27, 2022.[5]
