Overview
[edit]12 Pool is a ZvP build that does not see much use anymore; rather Zerg players tend to open with the 12 Hatch build, the 9 Pool build, or the Overpool (vs. Protoss) build. With the popularization of the FFE vs Zerg, the 12 pool's Zerlings pop too late to do any damage against the Protoss economy, and too late to easily shut down early Protoss aggression.
