Overview[edit]

The 1999 KBK Masters was the offline event held by Internet brokerage company KBK on July 13 - September 4, 1999. It was the first Korean tournament held with the approval of Blizzard. Its Vice President, Paul W. Sams, attended the competition. [1][2]

11 qualifications were held in different regions across the country to determine best players which eventually competed in main tournament.[3]
