1 Gate Tech

One Gateway tech refers to any Protoss opening that goes straight to Tier Two Tech off only one gate. It is less often seen in PvZ compared to other matchups due to the popularity of the Forge Fast Expansion. It is however used sometimes as a surprise/pressure strategy or in maps whose layout does not favor Forge FE. One Gate Tech can refer to:
