  • 12/18 - Send scouting SCV
  • 14/18 - Marine[1]
  • 15/18 - Command Center
  • 15/18 - Refinery
  • 15/18 - Marine
  • 16/18 - Supply Depot[2]
  • 21/26 - Factory
  • Bunker immediately[3]
  1. ↑ Stop SCV production
  2. ↑ Resume SCV production
  3. ↑ If the opponent opens with Command Center first, the bunker can be omitted

Execution[edit]

There are a few transitions available, similar to those in the Terran vs. Terran Guide

Here is a 2 Port Wraith build transition more clearly defined.

2 Port Wraith Transition[edit]
Basic Build
  • @Natural Gas ASAP
  • @100% Fac - 2 Port & Machine Shop
  • @100% Ports - build Control Tower on one & start Wraith on the other
  • @100% Machine Shop - constant Tank production
  • @100% Control Tower - Cloak & constant Wraith production
  • When Minerals allow for it - Academy
  • @2 Wraith - harass starts

This transition is sometimes used by Flash against 1 Rax FE.

If the 2 Port is scouted, Terran may want to consider an early transition to 5 Fac, as the 2 Port Wraith aggression may be rendered ineffective due to Goliath/Scanner/Turret.

vs 14 CC[edit]

Send first 2 marines and an SCV in an attempt to force reactions out of Terran & possibly do some damage

Transition 3 Fac Vultures[edit]
Basic Build
  • @100% 1st Fac - Machine Shop
  • @100% Machine Shop - Research Mines
  • Vultures when Facs & Machine Shop finish
  • Armory + 2nd gas
  • Academy

This transition is also sometimes used by Flash against 1 Rax FE.

After gaining map control with 3 Fac Vultures, Terran may want to consider transitioning into a Tank & Goliath composition depending on how the game goes.
