[edit]The 2004 SKY Proleague Round 2 takes place between August 11th and Oktober 30th, 2004. It is the fourth Proleague broadcasted by OnGameNet and sponsored by SKY. Featuring most Pro Teams of Korea, ten Teams will play a double round-robin in two groups based on their Round 1 Standing with the top team of each group advancing to the finals to determine the Round 2 Winner. Later on the Round 2 Winner will face off against the Round 1 as well as the Round 3 Winner plus the best team not winning any Round to determine the Grand Champion of the 2004 Sky Proleague. Meanwhile the bottom team of each group determine in a relegation match which team has to defend his place in the league against the team relegated in Round 1.

Format
[edit]The team with the lowest win percentile in round 1 is temporarily eliminated. The remaining 10 are divided into two groups of 5 according to their rankings in round 1. Each group plays a double round robin. 11 weeks, 45 matches in total. Each series is best 2 of 3, but the order is 1v1 - 2v2 - 1v1. At the end of the round the top two teams of each group determine the winner of their respective group in a Best-of-Five match.
Playoffs
[edit]After league play finishes, the first place teams from each group play in the Best-of-Seven Round 2 final. The winner is the 2004 SKY Proleague Round 2 Champion and advances to the Grand Finals.
