Overview[edit]

The 2004 Tuscon MBCGame Team League[1] was a team league where 8 teams competed in a double elimination format.[2] Each match was played as a Best of 7 in what is now known as Winners League format, in which the winning player of each game remained to play the next challenging player of the other team.

The winners of the Winners and Losers Brackets advanced to the Grand Final, where the two teams played one final Best of 7 match to determine the champion.

The prize for 1st place was a 2005 Hyundai Tucson with and estimated prize of ₩23,000,000.[3]

Format[edit]

  • Continuation of the all-kill format (winner stays), now known as Winners League format.
  • Three teams were seeded from the previous season. The other eight teams fought for the other five spots.
  • The main tournament format is double elimination, Best of 7 games.
