2008 Bacchus OSL Ro24 Dual Tournament

General[edit]

The ODT includes 24 players 12 of which advance to the OSL to meet the 4 seeded players forming the Ro 16 of the next OSL. The players will advance from 6 groups played out in ODT format (obviously). In the Ro 16 the 12 advancing players will be split into 4 groups of the seeded players Jaedong, Stork, Bisu, Much)


Format[edit]

Dual Tournament format:

  • Best of 1.
  • The 4 players of each group are split into two pairs and play each other.
  • The winners of these matches will then face each other in the Winner’s match.
  • The victor places first in the group and advances to the Starleague (Group Stage).
  • The losers of the initial matches face each other in the Loser’s match.
  • The loser places fourth in the group, drops out of the tournament.
  • The loser of the Winner’s match and the winner of the Loser’s match will face each other in a final match.
  • The winner gets second place in the group and advances to the Starleague.
  • The loser places third in the group and drops out of the tournament.

Maps[edit]

The first two matches are played on Katrina, the winners/losers matches are played on Blue Storm, and the final match is played on Fantasy II
