General Information[edit]

In 2009 WGTour and ICCup used to host events for the national teams. Ever since they stopped organizing events the international scene went more or less inactive. Even GosuGamers projects in these directions failed to achieve anything. The Spanish player NeYDi[EBoD] therefore organized a smaller tournament for the bigger and more active nations.

There was no money incentive for the participating teams. The roster and the clan wars were updated both on WGTour and a standalone page made specifically for this event. The games were played on ICCup's server TheAbyss. Every match consisted out of four 1v1 and one 2v2, with the individual sets being in Best out of Three mode.

Initially four groups with seven teams were generated from which the three top teams advanced into the play-offs. The play-offs were a seeded single-elimination tournament.
