General Information
[edit]The Amateur TeamLeague was organized by Shimy and began in November of 2015 on TeamLiquid.
Only players whose best ICCup rank was C+ or lower prior to the start of the tournament (in any season) were allowed into the league. To compensate for the huge skill gap between eligible players, a tiered match setup was implemented.
Format
[edit]Each team had to play against every other team twice in a 6-game match, with each player playing no more than one game in the match. Each team receives 1 point for each 1v1 its players win. At the end of season, the 4 teams with the most points will be placed in a playoff bracket accordingly. Due to the wide skill range of the players allowed to participate, there was a maximum rank cutoff for each match:
