Ascension: World Tour is an online tournament organized and casted by Artosis.
Tournament Information[edit]
Format[edit]
- Ladder Stage
- Open ladder qualification on Shield Battery ladder over two weeks.
- North America, South America and Europe are all free to enter. (really only China + Korea are excluded)
- Only one ID, 40 games required to qualify, only 1 race during qualification.
- Top 3 ranked players of each race (Terran, Zerg, Protoss) qualify for the tournament.
- Round of 9 Group Stage
- King of the Hill format
- 8 games (Potentially 1 Tie-Breaker Game)
- 1 player advances
- Final Group
- King of the Hill format
- 8 games (Potentially 1 Tie-Breaker Game)
- Prize Distribution
- Each map win is worth $25, 32 games for a total of $800.
- 3rd place is $240, 2nd place is $360, 1st place is $600 for a total of $1200.

Note: Originally the prize pool was meant to differ for 2nd and 3rd, but due to the final results, Artosis ruled that the 2nd/3rd prize would just be split equally as they had the same results.
