Description[edit]
Beltway replaced Fortress SE in Round 5 of the 2010-11 Proleague and was modified for Round 6. The map is an homage to Neo Forbidden Zone.
Notable Features[edit]
- Destructible temple in main which must be destroyed to prevent harassment of the natural expansion
- Center mineral-only expansion has razor-thin walls which makes it an easy target
- (Old version) Small choke at natural expansion
Changes[edit]
- Center mineral expansions high ground removed and brought to normal level.
- Center mineral expansions mineral patches reduced to 6 from 8.
- Can no longer wall off natural expansion chokepoints with one Barracks anymore.
- Temple moved behind natural expansions to allow easier air unit movements and positioning.
