Brushfire is a standard four player map released on May 22nd, 1998 as part of Blizzard's Map of the Week.[1] It was the first map released in this way by Blizzard.

The map has no nearby natural expansions connected to the main base, but there are a total of four island-expansions for mineral gathering. The center of the map has a multitude of possible expansions that are very open to enemy attacks.

Brushfire can be found in the WebMaps subfolder of the main BroodWar map's folder in-game.

Notable Features[edit]

  • The only non-island expansions are at the center of the map.
