Description[edit]

Chain Lightning was released on September 11th, 1998 as Blizzard's Map of the Week.[1]

The map can be played on Use Map Settings for allied play.

Due to the fact that the two ramps leading into each main are located differently at the various starting locations, the map has some positional imbalances. The most notable imbalance is the fact that the five o'clock starting position only has one main way into the base due to the way the ramps are located, making it a much easier base to defend than the other starting locations.

Notable Features[edit]

  • The three ways into most starting locations combined with the very wide chokes make walling practically impossible.
