Challenger is a map released by Blizzard with StarCraft and intended for non-ladder play. It has some positional imbalances.
While the gas of the island expansion in the top right can be reached by Siege Tanks placed on the edge of the starting position to the north's base, such is not the case at the corresponding island at the bottom left. Also, the gas only expansion in the main to the north can be reached by Siege Tanks located on the island to its right. The same does not hold true for the starting position at the bottom.
