Lee "Chavi" Jung Hyun is a retired StarCraft progamer from South Korea who played Zerg for Air Force ACE.

He played Protoss in StarCraft II for Air Force ACE.

Biography[edit]

Chavi made his debut in a recorded game during the GOM Classic Season 1. Playing in the Round of 128, he won his series against JoJoBa 2-1. He was knocked out in the following round by TheStC after losing 2-0. Following these results, he began to play in Samsung's Minor League squad for the 08 Minor League, where he finished the season with poor results of 3 wins and 10 losses. After failing to pass the Fall Prelims for the OSL and MSL, he was entered into the GOM Classic Season 2. Despite winning his opening round against HoOny 2-0, he was knocked out by KT Rolster's A-team Zerg Hoejja, losing 2-0 in the following round. Once again, he failed to pass the 08 Winter OSL and MSL prelims.

In 2009 he was, rather surprisingly, moved up to the A-team of Samsung to join Great and Juni on Khan's overlooked Zerg line. He was played in the Winner's League section of the 08-09 Proleague season in a game against Really which he lost. This was his first and final major televised game before he played in the GOM Season 3 Classic. Faced against Tossgirl, he won decisively with a 2-0 victory. He went on to face rising CJ Protoss Movie in the following round. Despite winning in the opening round, he couldn't seal the deal and was knocked out 1-2.

Once again, Chavi played in the Minor league for the 2009 season. Despite showing good play in the GOM leagues, Chavi again performed poorly in the league, finishing with some of the worst stats with a 1-8 record. Despite this poor showing, Chavi played his second game of the 08-09 Proleague season a little under a month later and defeated kkong, bringing his final season stats to 1-1.

In the pre-season for the 09-10 Proleague season, Chavi went 4-0 in matches in various pre-season tournaments, showing that he could play consistently in televised matches. He was fielded twice in round 1 of the proleague and finished with a 1-1 record with a win over Hyvaa and a loss to Best.
