The sixth season of the D Rank Team League was organized by sGs.Lmaster in April 2014 on Teamliquid. Every player with a D-/D/D+ ranking on iCCup was allowed to join, and players with better results could sign up as coach.
This season marked the first time the cut-off of C- players was applied for a DRTL. C- players became ineligible to participate in D-ranks events beginning the DRIT7.
Format[edit]
Using a draft system for any free agents, teams were formed. One season consisted of each week where the teams would play a Best of 5 Proleague Format, with each player playing one game in the match. At the end of the regular season, the top four teams in the standings (determined by Win-Loss Ratio and number of maps won, in that order) advance to the playoffs. These four teams will be placed into a single-elimination Best-Of-One Bracket. The seeding in the brackets will be 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd.
