Description[edit]
DeserTec is a four player map made by Freakling from the map making community at broodwarmaps.net. It is one of six maps that were used in the BWMN Open. DeserTec was added to the iCCup map pack for Mappack 2.5
Notable Features[edit]
- Forcefields - There are forcefields throughout the center of the map which create a cover effect, just like trees and high ground, where there is a 50% chance that projectiles will miss.
- Central Valley - There is a valley, dividing the left side from the right side, where high ground rolls into an area of low ground with cliffs on two sides
- Low Gas Expansions - The geysers at the 1, 11, 5 and 7 o'clock expansions only contain 2500 gas
