[edit]A Drone block is a simple technique of placing a Drone on the ramp, Overlord blocking it so it can't be targeted by the Vultures, if the Vultures attack move they'll attack your Sunken Colony instead. This technique is used to stop vulture harass, its primary goal is to use speed against Zerg early game, swoop in and kill as many Drones as possible, hurting the Zerg economy. The reason why you use a Drone is because they're not fighting units so they're not a priority when you attack move.
