Kamil "Fosken" Sierocki is a Zerg player from Poland.

Overview[edit]

Fosken started to play Brood War around 2003, but only started to seriously compete in bigger events around early 2006. The first notable tournament entry of the Polish Zerg were the WCG Poland 2006, for which he qualified. However, his skill wasn't enough to actually compete with Poland's elite and Fosken eventually dropped out of the preliminaries with two defeats.

In the months after Fosken improved greatly and started to enter online tournaments. His first high finishes happened in the last BW4Ever season. In the last three tournaments he managed to win two silver medals and one bronze. Although he thus qualified for the BKC 11 Finals he couldn't finish in the money places. After joining Deutschlands kranke Horde, he also entered as participant in the QCup, in which he won the third edition over the Russian Terran Sudden.

In summer 2007 Fosken qualified for the WCG Poland again. In the offline finals Fosken started to cause a major uproar after not only beating the newest member of the Templars of Twilight convincingly, but also by defeating Draco with a 2-1, and winning against Dreiven with a clear 2-0. The super finals went differently, however. Dreiven started to come back and tied the series to a 2-2 overall. In the last game of the Best of Five, Fosken had the upper hand on Azalea, until he mismicroed his army in the late game and thus lost the series. Despite missing to travel to the WCG 2007, Fosken was invited to the PGL Season 2in Bejing, China, to represent the international scene together with Draco and SEn.

Fosken missed to survive the group stage in the professional arena. In late winter Fosken took the third place in the Poznan LAN after losing to Gohan and MistrZZZ respectively. His last good run happened during ICCup's Pokersharks.ru Tournament Series, in which he finished second in the third tournament. In the main event Fosken set course to take the gold in the Swiss Groups, but lost two games towards the end. After this series Fosken stopped signing up for tournaments.

After the StarCraft II Wings of Liberty Beta Fosken made a re-entry to the international scene in 2013. At first he started to occasionally play on ICCup's ladder for fun, before he entered the Bombastic StarLeague. However, he was nowhere near his former skill level and was defeated early in the final stages again. Similar happened in the Brood War Reunion Tournament, for which he was invited. Despite making it out of the Swiss Group stage, he lost his first match against TT1 and was knocked out.

Trivia[edit]

  • Fosken initially wasn't invited to join the PGL Season 2 Finals at all. Only after White-Ra and Testie had to resign from the tournament due to visa issues, Fosken was asked to travel to Bejing.[1]
