Overview[edit]
This was supposed to be the first season of a new wave of GosuCups, but there have so far been no second season. Winner of tournament won 100 USD prize pool. Sayle was the official English caster.
Format[edit]
The tournament started with 12 brackets divided on 6 Qualifiers. Two players from each bracket would proceed to the Group stage. During the Bracket play, most series were Bo1, though in some of the qualifiers the semis and finals were Bo3.
The group play consisted of four groups with 3 players in each. The players would play one Bo3 against the two others in the group, earning 1 point for each set won. If a tie occurred, all the games would be replayed.
The two top players in each group would advance to the play-offs, starting in the Quarter Finals. The Quarter Finals were Bo3, and the Semis and Grand Finals were Bo5.
