Jang "Jy" Yook is a StarCraft progamer from South Korea who played Zerg for CJ Entus. He retired[1] and currently plays in amateur leagues.


KESPA era[edit]

Despite his best efforts, Jy wasn't able to have much success in individual tournaments such as 2006 Shinhan Bank OnGameNet Starleague Season 2, 2006 Shinhan Bank OSL Season 3 and MBC Movies 10th Survivor League to name a few. He usually got knocked out of the wildcard group or faced high caliber players such as BoxeR, NaDa and July.

He also played in 2006 SKY Proleague Round 1 and 2007 Shinhan Bank Proleague Round 1 where he ended up defeating some great players in Light, Calm and BeSt for a combined Proleague record of 8-12.

Post KESPA era[edit]

Jy has competed in LoveTV Starleague Season 2 where he was eliminated during the Round of 32 finishing last in his group with losses to Pure and Mong.
