Overview

The StarCraft community has produced a huge number of UMS maps aimed at helping the player practice and improve various aspects of his play.

This Article is an attempt to gather the best/most useful maps in one place.

Notes

All of these maps should be played under Use Map Settings. It is recommended that they are created in a LAN game instead of Single Player so that the player can get used to playing at Lan Latency. All of these maps can be played by just one player unless stated otherwise.

Please Note: A lot of effort has been put into giving proper credit to the creators of these maps. The sole purpose of this Article is to create a place where people can find them all easily. If you do not want your map on this page, don't wish for a direct download link to exist or have any other complaint please use the Article's Talk page, contact the Liquipedia staff or edit the page.

General Control

All-Purpose Micro Map

This map allows you to choose which units to micro, which units to micro against, and what upgrades to use for each. Best played with two players, to allow player vs player micro. A computer is also included for solo play. Up to four observers are allowed. Includes resettable timer, and the ability to clear the board to try a new type of micro. Any unit can be chosen, and buildings are constructable.

Hotkey Trainer

A great map for multi-tasking practice, this makes the Player build his base in order to attack an enemy position, use a transport to save a civilian from an other island while constantly microing a worker that's being chased by a Zealot.

Grobyc's Micro Maps

This map is for practicing busting zerg expos consisting of spore sunken lurker scourge for the most part. There is a section where you can create an enemy zerg flying army to fight as well.
