- The tournament will begin on November 13, 2002 at 4pm Peru on the 4th floor of Falabella del Jockey Plaza (Surco-Lima-Peru).
- Registration will close 30 minutes before the start of the tournament.
- You must register if you want to participate in the tournament.
- Players must have a legal copy of StarCraft Remasterd and be able to use Battle.net.
- Players will be called participants in the following.
- Previous edition champions will not be able to participate in this tournament.
- Every participant agrees to be available on the day the cup is held. Leaving the competition without obtaining an assignment from one of the referees listed above may result in a ban from future tournaments.
- All participants must unreservedly agree to comply with the rules and regulations, as well as with the decisions made by the referees of the Movistar GameClub Peru. The application of these rules and regulations is at the sole discretion of the referees.
- Any decision that is made may invalidate the following rules and regulations to maintain the spirit of competition. The participants have to obey the instructions given by the referees at all times.
- Each participant recognizes the right of Movistar GameClub Peru to modify these rules and regulations at any time and without prior notice.
- Each participant is asked to maintain an appropriate level of respect and friendship with the other participants and the referees. Insults and unfair or disrespectful behavior towards the referees and other participants will not be tolerated and may be sanctioned with a warning or immediate disqualification.
- Players may lose part of their earned prizes or even all of their earned prizes if they do not show proper sportsmanship.
- In case of disqualification, all prizes won are lost.
- Participants must be at least 14 years old.
- All participants must share the Battle.net StarCraft Remasterd account that is used to participate in the 1st Movistar GameClub StarCraft Remasterd tournament.
- By attending the 2nd Movistar GameClub Peru tournament, all participants agree that their game accounts are visible to third parties.

- The match setup must meet the following requirements:
- Category: Melee
- Mode: 1v1
- Game Speed: Faster
- Blocked Alliances: Yes
- If Movistar GameClub Peru decides to broadcast the match, a referee will host the match.
- The referees can only start the matches if both participants are ready.
- Referees and players must ensure that the correct map is hosted. A protest after the game has been played for more than one minute is void.
- If one of the participants experiences temporary difficulties during a match, the participant must notify the opponent and the referee.
- It is forbidden to watch or listen to any type of broadcast of your own matches while the match is still in progress.
- The participant has the right to take a break in the game up to 5 minutes. If the pause is prolonged, the opponent has the right to ask for the techwin by the referee's decision. Participants who have qualified for the final will be able to take a 10-minute break before the first match. The following breaks between games are no more than 5 minutes.
- Any breach of the rules may be sanctioned with loss by default or disqualification from the Tournament and future events.
