Description

Introduced in 2003, Namja Iyagi was a unique map in that spawning positions played a large part in determining the flow of the game. On this map, the naturals point towards each other instead of away as on other maps. Therefore, if both players spawned on the top or bottom of the map, there would be a much faster paced game, but if both players spawned on the right or left side of the map, the game would be much slower. Statistically, the map favors Zerg.

Notable Features

• 8-count mineral patches on islands - This map was one of the first to use this idea to prevent Command Centers from being floated onto island expansions.
• Naturals facing each other - See above.
• Two Entrances to the Natural - Like Chupung-Ryeong, the natural has a front and a back entrance to it.
• Cliffable Natural - The natural can be hit from the middle of the map.
