Description[edit]

The map was introduced in 2005 exclusively for the World Cyber Games, and to this date has not been used in a professional league. At a mere 96×96 squares, Paranoid Android is one of the smallest competitive maps around. The small size and lack of expansions make it difficult for a full blown macro match to occur. Games on the map tend to be much shorter than other standard maps.

The starting locations are very short via the air route but much longer from the ground. The style of games tend to be heavily based on harassing with shuttle and dropship play very common. Rushing is also common as with any other two-player map, but also because the distances are very close.

Short Air Distance - The two main bases are very close, so dropping and air harassment is very popular.
Gap at Natural Expansion - The small gap here forces the player to spread defences at their expansion. Lurkers are commonly used to abuse this small opening.
Small Bridge - As the game progresses it gets much harder to attack through this bridge, so players will use the larger bridge instead.
