Intro[edit]
A Special Xmas TL-Arena was played and broadcasted on January 3rd, 2009 as part of the TeamLiquid holiday celebrations[1]. In this special editions players were invited to sign up and play as Team Melee teams. The Hero of the evening was Aerials: An A- level Terran player from Canada. Commentary was done by Brent "User:Psyonic_Reaver" Schultz and Pholon.
Concept[edit]
Hero would start out with a single handicap, pick players and a map and receive additional handicaps after each win. Some player teams were selected beforehand, but the last team was selected using the first-come-first-serve principle. Maps were selected from the ICC Map Pack by the hero.
