Description[edit]
Usually harmless. However, there is a small risk of malignancy.
Polypoid is a 4 player map with 16 total bases, it is one of the four new maps for ASL9.
- Main Bases (1, 5, 7 and 10 o'clock): 9 mineral patches at 1500 each, 1 Geyser with 5000 Gas, single ramp entrance.
- Natural Expansions (2, 5:30, 8 and 11 o'clock): 7 mineral patches at 1500 each, 1 Geyser with 5000 Gas, each entrance can be walled.
- Third Bases (1:30, 4, 7 (more in the center) and 10 (more in the center) o'clock): 6 mineral patches at 1500 each, mineral only, totally open with only cliffs behind towards the main.
- 4th Bases (3, 6, 9, 12 o'clock): 7 mineral patches at 1500 each, 1 Geyser with 5000 gas, two ramp entrances.
Notable Features[edit]
- Rush time: horizontal and vertical 30 seconds, diagonal 40 seconds.
- Very open map,which permits large encirclements, especially in the center and around the 3rd bases.
- The center isn't buildable, but around it there is the possiblity for proxies.
- Ursadons are roaming around the map, most likely to be found at the 4th.
- Big main base ->Drops of any kind into the main are a constant threat.
