Overview[edit]

The Reps Team LAN Party 2013 was organzed by Largo and RU_Brain. It took place at KK Playground in Moscow. The participants had first to undergo a Round Robin Group Stage with a Best of Three format, from which the top four advanced into a Doulbe Elimination Tournament.

Despite only 12 players signing up, several of Russia's best players signed up, including Largo, Tama, Must and Djem5. Initially another $100 by Plumbum was promised to Yoda if he showed up to cast the LAN. However, Defiler.ru's webmaster didn't show and a stream by AleXoundOS and gu-val had to be set up[1].

In the finals Djem5 and Lancerx met. In the previous seven months both met in several tournament overall finals, starting with the finals of the Russian King of the Hill on 20th December 2012, followed by the Moscow New Year LAN 2012 two days later and Lan Target Moscow in June 2013. Before the finals of the Reps LAN Lancerx won all of their tight matches, leading with 7-4 stats. This time Djem5 won the tournament with a clear 2-0, making their overall score in the rivarly almost even.

Prizes[edit]

The prize pool was formed by an entrace fee of 500 RUB (~16$)[2], the reps.ru LAN fond and donations[3]. Summed up the prize pool was over 12.000 RUB, due to "special prizes": Plumbum sponsored 500 RUB for every 4 or 5 Pool performed during the group stages and the play offs, surf_vl added additional 1000 RUB for the best Protoss.

12.000RUB (~ $367) were spread among the top players:
