Description[edit]
Sand Storm is a remake map of Blue Storm from the New Worlds Map Contest on TL Forums.
It features a few changes from the original, including an enlarging of the map to be more square and an adjustment of some terrain features. Notably that the natural no longer has cliffs around the minerals, aiding in Muta defense. While the slim exit from natural through the middle of the map was adjusted to be bridges with a feature to enlarge that entrance later in the game. The halves of the map outside of the naturals now include a much closer third as that now includes a gas with 4 other bases, including one mineral-only. Where Blue Storm only had 3-bases on each half outside of naturals.
