Overview[edit]

Team Think Quick (est. 2004) reactivated in July 2020 as an informal clan consisting of 2v2 casual players on US West server. At the same time, it became an organizer, sponsor and broadcaster of BW events, hosting over 500 cash and non-cash prize showmatches featuring foreign and Korean StarCraft players.

In mid-2021, Team Think Quick partnered with SC2 Team Alpha X to broadcast sponsored live events on Trovo.live (called "Think Alpha Series") and AfreecaTV (called "Alpha Omega Series").

Inspired by renowned teams such as [GG] and Liquid, Team Think Quick formed in 2003-04 (as "tQ") and until mid-2006 remained a competitive (mainly North American) clan with half a dozen A rank ICCup players, including IdrA. Team Think Quick re-activated upon the release of SC2 and secured a small sponsorship for one year, supporting players such as Ryan "tQState" Visbeck who later went on to pursue a progaming career in Korea, before it de-activated again. The Team no longer existed as a competitive clan and would remain inactive until 2020, although several members continued to play on the clan's tag in remembrance.

Originally the team's clan tag (tQ) followed the unique names of its members, so that it became a statement of a demand to "think Quick" on their part. For example, DanTe.tQ literally meant "DanTe think Quick." When SC2 came out, the clan tag preceded the unique names of team members (e.g., "tQState"), creating the same intended meaning as before. The team's circular logo design symbolized unity, equality and continuity.
