Description[edit]
Volcanis is a map released by Blizzard with StarCraft and intended for non-ladder play.
While the high ground behind the bottom right starting position is larger than the corresponding high ground in the top left, both allow Siege Tanks to be in range of both the gas and the Town Hall.
Notable Features[edit]
- The map is open except the volcano in the middle.
- Two expansions in the corners, completely open without choke points.
- Two expansions on the volcano, can be harrassed from low ground.
- Lots of critters on the volcano.
- The mains don't have choke points and have high ground isles above the minerals.
