[edit]The WCG Germany 2006 took place at Freizeitpark Soltau at the end of August. Sixteen players qualified, twelve of them through a big online tournament and four through the WWCL LAN Rating.

Trivia
[edit]- Selector was and is known to be a notorious hacker. He was caught hacking numerous times. The outrage in the community was big when it was announced that Selector qualified for WCG 2006.
- FiSheYe retired from Brood War entirely after not qualifying in Soltau.
- WCG Germany 2006 is the last tournament GoOdy officially played as Terran; in the following events he already used Protoss.
