Trivia[edit]

  • In the 9th game of Group B, NaNiwa faced NesTea after both players were already mathematically eliminated from the tournament (with each posting 0-3). NaNiwa immediately sent his 7 initial Probes (with one trailing considerably behind) to NesTea's base. After issuing the blind attack-move command, he took his hand off the keyboard in resignation. He quickly lost 6 probes to NesTea's 9 Drones. The rematch between both players (after the 2011 MLG Global Invitational and MLG Providence) would have to wait until the MLG 2012 Winter Arena where NaNiwa would again triumph over NesTea[4] See main article.
  • Polt and MMA were both invited to the Blizzard Cup due to Mvp qualifying three times. Mvp had to play both of them, but ultimately lost to MMA, the eventual champion.
