The 2012 StarCraft II World Championship Series: Oceania Finals was the culminating tournament for the 2012 World Championship Series in Oceania. Six players from Australia and two from New Zealand vie for a prize pool of $15,000 and the chance to represent Oceania at the 2012 Battle.net World Championship in Shanghai, China. The event was held in Sydney, Australia on August 12, 2012, immediately after the 2012 WCS Australian Nationals.
Format[edit]
- Double-elimination bracket.
- All matches are Bo3.
- In the Grand Finals, the player coming from the Lower Bracket has to win two Bo3 series.
