About[edit]
The 2015 WCS Global Finals are the conclusion of the 2015 StarCraft II World Championship Series. Sixteen players, after qualifying by earning WCS points throughout 2015 in official WCS tournaments and in a multitude of non-WCS events, compete for the most prestigious trophy in 2015. Like the year before, the Round of 16 is played at ESL's studio in Burbank, CA (on November 1).[1] The remainder of the bracket is played in Anaheim, CA at BlizzCon 2015 on November 6-7.

Showmatches[edit]
Two Archon Mode showmatches are programmed after all quarterfinals are played.
The Champions Showmatch is between MC & HuK, winners of the Red Bull Battle Grounds: Washington, and Snute & TLO, winners of the Legacy of the Void showmatch played at the European Road to BlizzCon, to determine the best Archon team.[3]
The Legends Showmatch features some of the greatest players in StarCraft and StarCraft II history: NesTea & YellOw teaming up to face Mvp & BoxeR in both a reprisal of Lim Jin Rok, the most storied Brood War rivalry, and a matchup of two Incredible Miracle teammates who were the most successful players from Wings of Liberty.[4]
