Format[edit]
- The Challenger League consists of:
- The 31 players of the previous season's
remier League, excluding the champion. - 31 players from the Qualifiers.
- The 31 players of the previous season's
- Each returning player faces a qualified player from their region in a single Bo5 match.
- The winner advances to remier League.
- The loser is eliminated and may requalify next season.
- The winner advances to
- Introduced for Season 2 in the regions of America and Europe: Premier Pick allows the Premier League players to choose their opponents.[1] The order of picking is determined by 2015 WCS Season 1 rank followed by WCS Points.
Prize Pool[edit]
Each of the 31 seeds into award at least $4,500 USD and 100 WCS Points after future participation. In addition, $62,000 and 1,550 WCS Points are divided among participants as follows:
