The 2015 WCS Season 3 is the third and last season of the 2015 StarCraft II World Championship Series.

Format[edit]

Qualifier[edit]

Tournaments in each region will provide a certain number of spots into the WCS Challenger Leaguehallenger for a total of 31:

  • 14 spots for Europe, Middle East & Africa
  • 7 spots for the United States & Canada
  • 4 spots for China
  • 2 spots for Latin America
  • 2 spots for Oceania & South East Asia
  • 2 spots for Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau


The 2015 WCS Season 2 Champions's region will have one less spot as he is automatically qualified into the Premier Leagueremier League.

Challenger League[edit]

  • The Challenger League consists of:
  • Each returning player faces a qualified player from their region in a single Bo5 match.
    • The winner advances to Premier Leagueremier League.
    • The loser is eliminated and may requalify next season.
