The 2017 StarCraft II StarLeague Season 2 is one of the two Korean leagues of the 2017 StarCraft II World Championship Series Korea.

Format[edit]

  • First Stage
    • Two round-robin groups of five players each.
    • All matches best-of-three.
    • Top three players from each group advance to Challenge: Second Stage.
    • Bottom two players are eliminated from SSL and must re-qualify.
    • Prize money:
      • Each series awards ₩300,000 (≈$265)
        • ₩200,000 (≈$175) for the winner, ₩100,000 (≈$90) for the loser.
  • Second Stage
    • Single round-robin group of 6 players.
    • All matches best-of-five.
    • Fifth and sixth place are eliminated from SSL and must re-qualify.
    • Prize money:
      • Each series awards ₩500,000 (≈$440)
        • ₩300,000 (≈$265) for the winner, ₩200,000 (≈$175) for the loser.
