The 2017 WCS Austin - Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Japan Qualifier will allow 2 players to win travel, accommodation and entrance fully paid to 2017 WCS Austin. Format consists of an open qualifier, with the top 16 moving onto the final bracket.
Open Qualifier[edit]
- March 26, 2017 - 19:00 TST
- All matches are Bo3
- Top 16 move into Stage 2.
Round of 16[edit]
- April 1-2, 2017 - 16:00 TST
- 4 groups of 4 players in GSL format
- All matches are Bo3
- Top 2 of each group qualify for Playoffs.
Playoffs[edit]
- April 13, 2017 - 14:00 TST
- Single-elimination bracket
- Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Bo5
- Finals are Bo7
- Played offline at Taipei City
- Top 2 qualify for 2017 WCS Austin.
