The ASUS ROG The GD Invitational is a $10,000 eight-player invitational tournament organized by ASUS ROG Tournaments which will be held on October 2012 at the GD Studio in Stockholm, Sweden.
Format[edit]
- Groups into single-elimination
- Group Stage
- 2 groups of 4 players each
- Round-robin format, top 3 players in group advance
- Elimination Stage
- 6-player single-elimination format
- Top winner in each group receives a quarterfinal BYE, and is seeded directly into the semis
- 4 other players play in a quarterfinal match
- Best of 3 in the first round, best of 5 in semifinals and finals
- 6-player single-elimination format
