Do "BeSt" Jae-wook (born October 6, 1989) is a retired Korean Protoss player who last played for SK Telecom T1.
Biography[edit]
BeSt made a name for himself in the Brood War scene in 2008, as he reached the quarterfinals of the 2008 Bacchus OS following a difficult Ro16 group featuring Jaedong, Sea and sAviOr. Stork ended his run at this stage of the tournament, but BeSt returned in the 2008 EVER OSL. He eventually reached the finals of this event, taking his revenge against Stork, but couldn't find the crack in July's armour and had to settle with the silver medal, his crowning achievement in Brood War. In 2009, BeSt made his way to the 2009 NATE MSL quarterfinals, where he was eliminated by Flash.
On 26 July 2013 it was announced the BeSt would leave SK Telecom T1 to go do his military service.[1]

BeSt played his first SC2 official match during the hybrid 2011-2012 Proleague Season 2, as he defeated Sang when SK Telecom T1 faced 8th Team on May 20.

2012 OSL KeSPA Preliminaries[edit]
On July 19, 2012, BeSt participated in the 2012 OSL KeSPA Preliminaries. BeSt received a BYE in round one and then took down Great, Jaehoon, and faced Sin in the finals. After taking down Sin by a score of 2:0, BeSt advanced in to the 2012 OSL KeSPA Dual Tournament.
2012 OSL KeSPA Dual Tournament[edit]
On July 31, 2012, BeSt participated in the 2012 OSL KeSPA Dual Tournament. BeSt took down BaBy in game one, and then advanced in to the winners bracket to face ZerO. After taking down ZerO, BeSt advanced in to the 2012 SC2 OSL Season 1 with a total score of 2-0.

2012 WCS Korea Preliminaries[edit]
On July 22, 2012, BeSt participated in the 2012 South Korea WCS Preliminaries. BeSt received a BYE in round one and then took down 곽범수, Choya, Cyrano, and faced Happy in the finals. He was not able to advance any further as he lost to Happy by a score of 0:2 and took 2nd place.
