City Hunter is an Internet Cafe Chain based in Sydney, Australia. They frequent tournaments for Starcraft II (to date they have run 15 "Pro" events and 6 "Casual events". City Hunter Tournaments have been attended by some of the best players Oceania has to offer, including mOOnGLaDe, MaFia, PiG, tgun, Light, Rossi, YoonYJ, deth, JazBas, Ninja and Poker.

Tournament Format[edit]
- The standard format for the first 10 tournaments at City Hunter were Groups Stage into the Double Elimination Bracket. Since the 11th Tournament (ASUS ROG Invite) "Pros" (Grand Masters and Masters) and "Amateurs" (Diamond and Below), have been split into separate comps, the "Pros" play in a Double Elimination bracket while the "Amateurs" Play a Swiss Round Robin, into a Top 8 Single Elimination Bracket.
- The Prize Pools vary, but generally they are $350–$500 + Product Prizes from Sponsors.
- City Hunter's StarCraft II Festival, was the first LAN event for Starcraft II to be held in Australia.
- City Hunter's StarCraft II Festival had 96 attendees across the 1v1 and 2v2 comps a StarCraft II LAN record that was only beaten by City Hunter's StarCraft II Anniversary Tournament that had an amazing 110 attendees.
- Xeria Gaming did the unthinkable by taking all top 3 placing in not just one but in back to back events (City Hunter's Kingston Comp #5 and City Hunter's Kingston Comp #6)
- JazBas and KingKong are the only Non-Australians to win City Hunter Tournaments. They have a 100% win rate at City Hunter Tournaments, with JazBas having entered one and KingKong having entered two.
- mOOnGLaDe has a 100% win rate in City Hunter Tournaments (3 out of 3). The 3 tournaments he has entered have all been the last Starcraft Tournament of the calendar year (2010,2011,2012)
- Light is the only non Zerg to have won a City Hunter Tournament.
- Xeria Gaming has the longest "Top 3" Streak having atleast 1 person in the top 3 in a consecutive 11 events (Kingston Comp #1 - Kingston Comp #9).
- HuT (a player from Pro Team Frenetic Array) and tgun have both cited that a top 3 finishes at City Hunter is one of their Starcraft goals.
