Choi "CoCa" Jong-hwan (born April 14, 1994) is a retired Korean Zerg player.

After retiring from professional StarCraft II, he initially decided to play League of Legends competitively after the disbanding of SlayerS. He returned to competitive StarCraft II in April 2013. He then retired again on March 12, 2014.

Wings of Liberty[edit]

It was announced on August 17, 2011 that CoCa would be leaving ZeNEX and joining SlayerS. SlayerS has claimed that this player acquisition was carried out on good terms, but was later accused by the ZeNEX manager of player stealing.[1] CoCa retired from Starcraft II and switched to League of Legends in October 2012, as SlayerS disbanded.[2]

Code A[edit]

CoCa was one of the new qualifiers for the Code A GSL March season. He advanced to the Round of 16 by defeating AcE but would then lose to Leenock. In GSL May, CoCa would advance one round further to the quarterfinals. This allowed him to compete in the up/down matches where he took out foreigner, Jinro to obtain promotion into Code S.

Code S[edit]

In GSL Code S July 2011 CoCa reached the Round of 8 where he was defeated 3-0 by NesTea. His second game exhibited an interesting use of the many paths through Xel'Naga Caverns where he attempted to surprise NesTea with a large Baneling/Zergling attack by moving his Zerglings in a large 'S' shaped route around the map avoiding all of NesTea's Overlords. CoCa would subsequently come third in group D in the round of 32 of GSL Code S August 2011, failing to advance but securing his Code S place for the next GSL. CoCa would play in Code S of GSL October. He would place first in the group stages and move on to defeat Killer 2-0 before falling to Happy in the next round 0-3.

It was announced on November 15 that CoCa would be forfeiting his Code S spot due to controversy involving throwing a game to ByuN in an ESV TV Korean Weekly tournament game.[3]

CoCa was sent out several times for SlayerS during 2012 GSTL Season 2. In the second round he all-killed Prime, the previous champions, eliminating them from the tournament.
