Combat Shield is a Marine upgrade which is researched at a Tech Lab attached to a Barracks. Once researched, the maximum HP of all Marines the player owns and produces is increased from 45 HP to 55 HP. Marines that are already in play are instantly healed by 10 HP when the upgrade is completed.

In Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm

The upgrade was the same in WoL and HotS, and the duration was the same. However, because the definition of the Blizzard second was different, the displayed duration was 110 seconds at Faster speed.
