DanishStarcraft.com 2012 Finals has 4 qualifiers, from which players who reach the top 16 earn "SteelSeries points", which is used for qualifying for DS.COM 2012 Finals. The 16 players with the most SteelSeries points after the last qualifier, qualifies for DS.COM 2012 Finals.
4 qualifiers from which the participating players earn "SteelSeries points".
The top 16 players, from these qualifiers, earn a spot into Group play - which is seeded according to the amount of SteelSeries points acquired.
The top 2 of each group advance to a Championship Bracket, which is Single-elimination.
Top 3 takes home prize money and SteelSeries Hardware.
SteelSeries Points explanation[edit]
Each qualifier awards points to the top 16 players:
- 1: 100 SteelSeries points
- 2: 75 SteelSeries points
- 3-4: 50 SteelSeries points
- 5-8: 35 SteelSeries points
- 9-16: 25 SteelSeries points.
The 16 players with the most SteelSeries points after the last qualifier, is placed into group play, as explained in "Format".
